Now that netbooks have lowered how much we’re willing to pay for laptops with a smaller footprint, it looks like ultra-portables are looking for ways to justify their higher price point. In that vein, Fujitsu’s upcoming P8020 is packing a multitouch trackpad that’ll allow those pinching zoom in, zoom out motions and circular unlimited scrolling gestures currently seen on Macbook Pros. Is that, and the 1.4Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of memory, 120GB hard disk, DVD burner and GMA 4500MHD video card enough to make it worth $1,800? I guess we’ll see come November. Although unveiled back at DEMO last month, we thought AWIND’s MobiShow was worthy of the double-back. The compact, WiFi presentation device allows for video and PowerPoint demonstrations to be presented in a 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution on any VGA-connected display without the need for a PC — everything is controlled from the Windows Mobile or iPhone handset applications. Check the video after the break, the acting alone should make it worth your while.

Windows only: Free application MRU-Blaster detects and cleans Most Recently Used (MRU) lists from every corner of your computer. Most of these lists are stored in your Windows registry, which means it’s not easy for someone concerned with his privacy to hunt them down. MRU-Blaster makes it easy: Just hit Scan, then Clean Now. As the gHacks post points out, the app still finds and cleans a significant number of MRUs even after running the very popular CCleaner, which might make it worth an installation in conjunction with CCleaner. You can also set the app to run on a schedule or every time you start up your computer. MRU-Blaster is freeware, Windows only. If you give it a try on your system, let’s hear what kind of results you had in the comments.
